Album

Don't Fight the Sea is a song written by Terry Jacks and released as a single in 1976, reaching 31 on the Canadian Charts. The song was attempted by the Beach Boys in 1976 during recording sessions for their album 15 Big Ones. In 2010, the song was rewritten with Al Jardine for his album A Postcard from California and with several of his Beach Boys bandmates making a guest appearance, with vocals culled from various recording sessions during the interim period. Jardine's version was also issued on. Friends a Capella is previously unreleased from 1968. 1000 Released on white vinyl with red labels to resemble the flag of Japan. Released when Cream and Jimi Hendrix were at their apex, the low-key pleasantries of Friends seemed downright irrelevant in mid-1968. Dont Fight The Sea. Al Jardine. Featuring The Beach Boys. I went on to the shore, I couldn't see anymore And I tied my boat to a tree I was messing around when the tide went down You know you don't fight the sea. Don't fight the sea Don't fight the sea Don't fight the sea. Don't fight the sea Dont fight the sea Dont fight the sea Don't fight the sea. Im caught in the wind, the tide's coming in The fog's closing in over me My blood's running cold, cause my life is on hold For years I've been adrift on the sea.
