Jeff Greinke is an American ambient music and jazz artist and composer currently based in Tucson, Arizona. He is known as one of the pioneers of dark ambient music, with his earlier solo albums often compared to works by Robert Rich, Brian Eno, and Vidna Obmana. Greinke's approach on his ambient works is to heavily layer, mutitrack, and texture soundscapes, effectively using the studio as an instrument. Jeff Greinke Lost Terrain. Etichetta: Silent SR9219. A journey into night, Lost Terrain has the feeling of exploring forgotten landscapes of both inner and outer worlds. The first cut, Terrain of Memory, will strike a sympathetic chord with those who like Budd's The White Arcades in its cool, dark ambience. The Cry, with its Indonesian-influenced percussion, sharpens the senses, like walking into the pitch-black entrance of a strange forest at dusk. Fans of Eno's Ambient 4: On Land will like The Moor in all of its deep-spacealien grandeur. The Moor - Jeff Greinke. Исполнитель: Jeff Greinke. 1992 easy listening. Jeff Greinke Format: Audio CD. Please retry. Lost Terrain by Jeff Greinke. Most of this music, though, is about serenity. Music like Terrain of Memory, Falling Away, and Spires gently caress the ear with pleasant formless sound pools. By the end of Lost Terrain, you are almost guaranteed to find yourself much more relaxed and at peace than when you started. Kudos to Hypnos for reissuing this classic ambient work. Practically a must-have for fans of ambient in the style of Eno and Budd. By Jeff Greinke. 1992 , 9 songs. Terrain of Memory. The Cry. The Moor. 1992 Jeff Greinke. Legal Privacy Cookies About Ads
