Glass Swords is the debut studio album by Scottish producer Russell Whyte under his alias of Rustie, released by Warp in 2011. The album was produced and recorded between 2008 and 2010 by Whyte, partially in his father's home in Glasgow, Scotland and partly in his own home in London, England. The album contains vocal work from Whyte as well as London based producer Nightwave. 50 видео Воспроизвести все Микс Rustie- Glass Swords ALBUM REVIEWYouTube. Альбом 2011 Песен: 13. This year, Warp releases Glass Swords, the debut album by Rustie, a young Glasgow producer who's come up in the protean post-dubstep scene and has yet to rough up the mainstream. Give him time, though, especially if he catches the ear of a diva. Most of the vinyl-only singles by LFO's revolutionary contemporaries are now sadly forgotten. Rustie helped usher on the days of IDM and indetronica with diverse beat progression, varied sampling and all-around groundbreaking ideas. The build up of the track progression of the album made such an impact that it attracted the attention of Danny Brown and other rappers and made this a breakthrough hit. On Glass Swords, Rustie continues to integrate the currently hip and terminally unhip - garish probes of 80s synth rock, beaten-to-a-pulp dance-pop, 90s rave, and bass music, to name four of several drawing points - all for the sake of a rush. Integrate is a light way of putting it, though the method is more like slathering, layer after layer, with no concern for restraint or tastefulness, though each track is shaped into a songlike structure. Download: Rustie - City Star. Although Rustie is often sorted alongside dubstep or grime artists, Glass Swords defies classification. This is not a dubstep album, at all, so if you're looking for that, you won't be happy. Actually, that's not true, I think you'd probably forget all about dubstep, because here, Rustie crafts exactly what I want post-dubstep to be: it takes bass music in a million okay, 13 different directions and changes pace constantly, but nothing feels out of place or forced. It's all effortlessly good. Glass Swords, 2011. Glass Swords, 02:20. Flash Back, 03:47. Surph, 04:33. Glass Swords. Rustie - Glass Swords 2011. To favorites 3 Download album. Listen album
