Посмотреть сведения об участниках альбома, рецензии, композиции и приобрести альбом 2006 CD от Heavy As A Really Heavy Thing на album included several session musicians in its recording. Including a 12-page booklet with extended liner notes from Devin Townsend himself. As Devin recalls, I had finished with The Wildhearts just prior to this 1994, and they were so anti-everything that I decided to take a similar approach while focusing on dissonance and just being as over-the-top as I could. Songs didn't really matter it was just the intensity and the vibe plus lots of humor. That is really what the album is all about. Heavy as a Really Heavy Thing sold 143 copies in its first six monthes. Now its reissue has been said to be the rebirth of a genre-defying classic. Though not a classic it is still a must have for any fan of Devin Townsend, SYL, or Metal in general. Strapping Young Lad Cheesy metalhead Go. Howdy, welcome to A&W. My name's Devin. Reviews of the Strapping Young Lad - Heavy As A Really Heavy Thing (1):

Can anyone confirm that this is sourced from the same Troy Glessner vinyl master as the Blood Music set?
I just checked my copy of the record and it does not seem to credit Troy anywhere; however, nobody else is credited for vinyl mastering in his stead. I'll try to update the credits list on this release when I get a chance.
My gut says no seeing how the BM pressing didn't include the bonus tracks. Also, I remember reading that he had the plates thrown out due to low demand.
